Duration:
2 hs into the water

Difficulty:
Moderate

Departure:
October to April

It is a Rafting experience that takes place on the Corcovado River. The experience begins at Sol y Luna camping, Comarka’s operational base, located at the entrance of the town of Corcovado, where the guides (rafting guide and safety guide or safety kayak) will receive them and provide them with the equipment (neoprene suit , jacket, helmet, life jacket and paddles) and a talk about the use of it.

Once dressed, they go together with the guides to the starting point of the activity, the corcovado sawmill (about 5 minutes from the campsite), where the technical and safety talk of the activity is given. The first section of the river begins on the plateau, with calm waters, where you can appreciate the beauty of the native forest and birdlife of the place, it is the ideal time to make contact with the raft and practice the rowing and safety techniques explained. As we approach the Cordillera, its waters accelerate, configuring class II and III rapids perfect for rafting with the right dose of adrenaline and safety, during a 15-kilometer journey in the water. For two hours rapids and backwaters, waterfalls, rock walls, cypresses and open coasts alternate, but above all there are moments of gentle contemplation and others of furious team paddling to channel the raft.

The activity ends at the Quilodrán Bridge, where the transport awaits you to provide you with a snack while you change and then return to the base (Sol y Luna campsite).
