Departures:
Odd-numbered days and Saturdays

The journey begins in El Chaltén, Argentina’s trekking capital. Once we arrive at Puerto Bahía Túnel, located just 18 km from the town center, we embark on a boat that navigates the turquoise waters of Lake Viedma.

The initial leg of the journey takes us south along the bay, hugging the shoreline and allowing us to admire the imposing silhouette of the Huemul Massif, one of the region’s most iconic mountains.

After approximately 40 minutes of sailing, we arrive at Cabo de Hornos Bay, where we disembark for an easy trek. The trail leads us to a panoramic viewpoint on the Cabo de Hornos Peninsula, from where an unforgettable scene unfolds: the magical Iceberg Bay, with its drifting icebergs and the backdrop of the Andes Mountains.

After enjoying this unique landscape, we’ll re-embark for the most anticipated moment of the excursion: approaching the face of the Viedma Glacier. From the deck, we’ll be able to appreciate the immense wall of ice in all its grandeur, with its bluish hues and ever-changing textures, while the guide explains the history and formation of this ancient glacier, the largest in Argentina.

Finally, we’ll begin our return to the port, carrying with us the thrill of having experienced an authentic adventure in the heart of Patagonia, where adventure meets the contemplation of majestic and unforgettable landscapes.

The experience includes an on-board snack: a premium sandwich, mineral water, and a brownie made in El Chaltén.
