Los Alerces National Park was created on May 11, 1937. It is a protected area and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located in the province of Chubut, Argentina. It borders Chile in the west. It includes the Futalaufquen, Verde, Krüger, Rivadavia, Menéndez, Amutui Quimei lakes and the Arrayanes river.

The kayaking experience on the Arrayanes River begins at the Camping Agreste de Lago Verde, the meeting and departure point. Once there, they will be given the technical and security equipment to carry out the activity.

This experience is ideal to start kayaking and enjoy with the family, surrounded by a landscape made up of larch and cypress forests, emerald green lakes and turquoise water rivers.

It is a 4 km round trip that takes about 2 hours and includes a snack.

Bring: Sunscreen, sunglasses and sun hat. Insect repellent. If you take any medication (anti-allergy, or another prescribed by the doctor) do not forget it. Comfortable clothes, synthetic if possible, quick-drying, and slippers that are going to get wet, a fleece to keep warm if necessary, also a change of clothes for the return. Don’t forget your own water bottle (it can be a refillable bottle).

Arrive 30 minutes prior to departure time for a safety briefing.

Not suitable for pregnant women, people with heart disease, people recently operated. Previous experience is not necessary.
