Torres del Paine Full Day is a tour that departs from El Calafate and includes a visit to Torres del Paine National Park in Chile in 4×4 overland vehicles, accompanied by specialized local guides. During the tour, you’ll take a circular route that allows you to view the Torres del Paine in Chile from different angles. The tour includes stops at lookouts, lagoons, waterfalls, and scenic viewpoints, as well as a guided hike and a packed lunch. The Torres del Paine tour is an ideal way to explore this rugged part of Patagonia from El Calafate in just one day.
6:30 a.m. – Tour begins with a stop at hotels within the city limits
• Traveling across the Patagonian steppe from north to south, we’ll reach the Cancha Carrera border crossing (approximately 3.30 hrs)
10:30–11:00 a.m. – Arrival at the border (the guide assists passengers with immigration procedures)
• Viewpoint of the Paine Massif from the tip of Lake Sarmiento de Gamboa.
• Drive along the shore of Laguna Amarga to reach the best panoramic view of the Torres; stop and disembark.
12:30–1:00 p.m. – Laguna Amarga entrance. Stop to present tickets to park rangers.
• Stops without disembarking at Laguna Larga.
• Panoramic stop with a 15-minute walk at the Upper Nordenskjold Lake Viewpoint (panoramic view of the Cuernos).
• Arrival at Salto Grande (40-minute hike); weather permitting, we’ll continue on a longer 50-minute hike toward Nordenskjold Lake to get a close-up view of the Cuernos del Paine.
• Stop at Puerto Pudeto.
4:00 p.m. – Lake Pehoe, viewpoint overlooking Lake Pehoe with the French Valley and the Cuernos in the background
5:00 p.m. – Cerro Castillo. Coffee break, souvenirs.
6:00 p.m. – Border crossing
10:00 p.m. – Arrival in El Calafate

Restrictions: Due to its long duration and distances covered on gravel roads, this excursion is not recommended for young children, pregnant women, people with pre-existing medical conditions, neck or back problems, heart conditions, or reduced mobility, or people who suffer from motion sickness.
