This is an exclusive expedition that begins early in the morning from Calafate, we will take the mythical Route 40 bordering the Argentino Lake, we will cross the Santa Cruz River (Here we will relate Darwin’s experiences with Fitz Roy going up this river to very close to there), then we will continue to La Leona River, where we will travel through its canyon until arriving after 1 hour 15 minutes, at the old hotel on the Paso La Leona (almost a museum on Route 40), where you can have a coffee and homemade cakes, from there we will continue bordering Viedma Lake -with the Andes Mountains in the background (Including Fitz Roy and Torre). Before arriving at the town we will stop at the Viedma Glacier viewpoint from where you will be able to appreciate a beautiful panoramic view of the Glacier, the Cordillera and the emblematic Cerro Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. We will arrive at the mountain village of El Chaltén after 3 hours of travel, having traveled 220 kms.

From the Interpretation Center of National Parks we will start the walk with an APN guide to the Condors viewpoint, it is a walk is a climb of low difficulty that after just over an hour leads us to this magnificent viewpoint of everything the mountain range that surrounds Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre, including Agujas MermozSaint ExupéryPoincenot, among others. It is even possible to see the Piedras Blancas Glacier from there, with El Chalten village below us and Río de las Vueltas Valley in the background, truly a magnificent panoramic point.

After this walk we will transfer you to a restaurant in the center of town to enjoy lunch in an environment with an adventurous spirit.

In the afternoon we will continue heading northwest, entering the Río de las Vueltas Valley, after leaving our vehicle and after a short walk with our guide, we will arrive to Salto del Chorrillo, a beautiful waterfall with crystalline waters, in a wooded environment of lengas and ñires of extreme beauty, for sure there you will be able to take amazing photos!

Passengers will have approximately one hour to explore the Chalten town, enjoy the craft brewery, a classic in El Chalten, or perhaps stop by the waffle shop or a tea house. Later we will start the return to El Calafate.
