Duration:
9 hs
Difficulty:

Departures:
Daily
At 9:30 a.m. we depart from Chalten to Estancia Bonanza. After riding, the ride begins. You pass through the
Vizcacha canyon and its mallín. Then you ride along a pampita and you have a view of Cerro Chalten. The path
enters a forest of lengas and ñires, until reaching Laguna Lita. The duration of the horseback riding tour is about
2 hours. While the country lunch is being prepared, a short trek is carried out to the Laguna Cóndor viewpoint.
After lunch, we descend on foot to the lagoon where the kayaks are located and everything is ready to begin
navigation along the Vueltas River. Before boarding, they are given the waterproof bags that come with the kayak
equipment: neoprene suit, jacket, life jacket and helmet, and a technical and safety talk is given. Personal effects
are carried in the kayak’s lockers.
The section of the river that is navigated is characterized by being shallow and with many meanders. You cross a
very beautiful Andean Patagonian forest and the Fitz Roy outlines its northern face on the horizon. You navigate
12 km from Laguna Condor to Estancia Bonanza. The navigation lasts approximately 1:30 h, depending on the flow
