La bajada de la frontera, la más larga de Corcovado, es una experiencia maravillosa, los rios Hielo y Corcovado son más que maravillosos, vivimos tres horas inolvidables. The guides took care to point out landmarks and explain about the area. A different way to get some beautiful views of the range. The rapids were much more wild than I was expecting. Everyone in the boat got soaked. We didn’t have any close calls with falling in, but I could imagine with a little more rain, it could happen. This was a nice way to break up all the hiking, kicking in a little more adrenaline. I will definitely do this again when I return to Chalten. You start out on a lake and then kayak in the river with a nice flow so not much paddling needed. Highly recommend both, especially if it's a drizzly/rainy day! Pre trip briefings were very good. Lunch provided for the am kayak trip was delicious! Wet suits, fleece and towels provided both days. Our lead guide, Lloyd (aka Papacito);), and his incredible team made it a truly top-class adventure, safe, interactive and great fun.
