After approximately one hour, we&#8217;ll arrive at Parador La Leona, where you can enjoy coffee and homemade cakes. From there, we&#8217;ll continue our journey along the shores of Lake Viedma.<\/p>\n<p>Once in El Chalt\u00e9n, we&#8217;ll head to the Comarka operations base, located at Av. San Mart\u00edn 872, where the guides will greet you and provide you with the necessary equipment for the activity.<\/p>\n<p>Once equipped, we&#8217;ll travel by vehicle for 5 minutes to the river entrance, where a technical and safety briefing will be given. The first 6 km stretch of the river, with its calm, winding waters, offers the opportunity to admire Mount Fitz Roy and its surrounding peaks, the Andean forest, the steppe, and occasionally, the native wildlife and birds. This is the ideal time to familiarize yourself with the raft and practice the paddling and safety techniques explained earlier.<\/p>\n<p>The second part continues through the canyon.
