Departures:
Scheduled from Dicember to March

Respecting the route of the Classic Corcovado River, the Full Moon descent is a special and different Rafting activity where the mystique and the environment make this a unique and fascinating experience.

The magic of the night makes the senses sharpen to perceive incomparable sensations.

The experience begins at the Sol y Luna campsite, Comarka’s operational base, located at the entrance to the town of Corcovado, where the guides (rafting guide and safety guide or safety kayak) will receive you and provide you with the equipment (wetsuit , jacket, helmet, life jacket and oars) and a talk about its use.

Once dressed, they move with the guides to the starting point of the activity, Corcovado sawmill (about 5 minutes from the campsite), where the technical and safety talk of the activity is given. The first section of the river begins on the plateau, with calm waters, where you can appreciate the beauty of the native forest and the birds of the place, it is the ideal time to make contact with the raft and practice the explained rowing and safety techniques. As we approach the Cordillera, its waters accelerate, setting up class II and III rapids perfect for rafting with the right dose of adrenaline and safety, during a 15-kilometer journey on the water. For two hours rapids and backwaters, waterfalls, rock walls, cypress groves and open coasts alternate, but above all moments of gentle contemplation and others of furious rowing as a team to channel the raft are interspersed.

The activity ends at the Quilodrán Bridge, where the transport awaits them to return to the base (camping Sol y Luna) where they await us with pizza and draft beer.
